A few years later, after watching the 1st 2 movies again, I began to wonder what we missed. Well, I had a good time with the 1st movie, and I liked the 2nd movie too, and the 3rd movie was more of the same, so I liked it too.
Now if it bothers you that people get old, or maybe you get bored if a movie doesn't blow you away you may be disappoined. On the other hand, if you remember the 1st move was sort of laid back, low key, with this crazy guy named Mick who meets a lot of interesting people, and that the 3rd movie was more of the same stuff you liked before, you will be happy to see some old friends again.
You know, Mick Dundee is not a super hero. Mick is just a fun guy to watch, and so are his friends. I dunno, maybe the 3rd movie is like a comfy pair of old shoes.

I had a chance to watch the first two recently and picked this one up at the same time and just finished watching it. Whereas the first two films were more about romance the third film is definitely a comedy.
I liked it if only because it's more "Crocodile Dundee". It was both funny and entertaining. Trying not to give the plot away, but if you liked the first two movies you'll like this one to get more of the same, something different, some more laughs and it ties up a few loose ends.
I wish there was a 4th installment. I was consistently surprised at how good this movie is all the way through. I didn't see the movie until now because the original trailers made it seem hokey, but it's actually pretty tonally balanced and very funny.
There's plenty of fish out of water jokes like in the first movie, but they don't go too far with any of them and there's also plenty of action and criminals to catch like in the second movie.
It's nice to see almost all the original actors back again as his friends too. Definitely recommending this to any Dundee fan!
Ugh, they should have never made this 3rd installment to this series. Once again, they take a hit movie franchise, and go for another cheap money grab, and this one flops.
They try the big city approach again, and it doesn't sparkle at all. This movie isn't even funny. It's like they try to redo the first movie, but it fails big time.
I couldn't even watch this for a half hour, before shutting it off. It's a big disappointment, as the first 2 movies were great, and i was excited to see a 3rd installment was made that i never heard of.
Now i know why i never heard of this one, it sucks!!! Once again, this movie ruined the whole franchise. The first two movies were good and then they came out with this cheap sequel.
It seemed they could not come up with a good story line for this movie. Not all movies need sequels. They should have stopped after the second Crocodile Dundee.
I always enjoy Paul Hogan. His Crocodile Dundee movies are fun and rather addictive. This one was fun but I did miss all the action that the first two movies had.
There was plenty of action in it, but not up to the level of the first two. More laid back and not as intense. Indeed, it was much better than I anticipated.
Enough, so that I felt comfortable recommending it to my folks, as I think they will enjoy the family-movie aspect, quite a lot. I actually bought this movie before we had Prime membership years ago.
I still had the icon to purchase through my Roku. And my husband was in the mood to rewatch this old classic, the best out of the series we think.

Much less successful that the previous two films with no real bite at any time. So just a mild almost television type compilation really of some funny scenes with the predictable humour that we love.
The direction I thought poor as so much seemed to be almost 'signalled' through the film; the heroine's blouse is more unbuttoned than usual; Nugget makes an amorous advance for no apparent reason; Donk is not used enough.
